Important Notes:

All ceiling rigging must conform to Show Management rules and regulations and facility limitations.
All material charges will be replaced with per pick point this year. Pick point defined as the exact structural location where overhead suspension cables or chains are attached to a suspended object (such as a trade show hanging sign, stage lighting truss or heavy equipment).
All overhead hanging must be assembled, installed, and removed by PACK EXPO Services.
All hanging hardware must be shouldered, forged, stamped, and rated for overhead lifting. PES will inspect and replace all non-compliant hardware. All additional hardware will be charged accordingly.
Electrical signs must be in working order and in accordance with National Electrical Code. Electrical service must be ordered in advance; you can place your order online.
PACK EXPO Services will begin to assemble and hang signs as soon as the hall is accessible and as long as the order and the sign are received by the appropriate deadline dates.
PACK EXPO Services reserves the right to refuse to hang any sign which is deemed unsafe.
Standard Prices will apply if:
- Your hanging sign is not received at the Advance Warehouse by September 30, 2026.
- If your sign order, floor plan, and physical sign are not received by the appropriate deadlines and the sign will be hung when equipment and labor become available.
Lifts with crews have an hour minimum and thereafter are billed at (1/2) hour increments.
- Lift with crew consists of equipment, (1) operator and (1) ground man.
Decorator and Electrical assembly/disassembly labor have an hour minimum and thereafter are billed at (1/2) hour increments.
Supervision: The exhibitor, EAC, lighting contractor, or PACK EXPO Services may supervise the assembly and disassembly of your overhead hanging sign(s). If you opt for exhibitor supervised labor, you will be charged Standard rates.

Labor Hours:

Straight Time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Overtime: 4:30 pm to 12:00 Midnight, Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday

Double Time: 12:00 Midnight to 8:00 am, Monday through Sunday, 4:30 pm to 8:00 am, Saturday, All day Sunday and Holidays

TRUSS AND EQUIPMENT

Important Notes:

Orders received after the Discount Deadline will be charged Standard rate.
All rigging must comply with McCormick Place, Show Management rules and regulations, and facility limitations.
Only PACK EXPO Services personnel may install, assemble, disassembled and remove any overhead rigging and flown objects. Exhibitors and/or EAC’s may only supervise.
Only PACK EXPO Services personnel will be permitted in lifts or allowed to operate motorized equipment.
PACK EXPO Services requires an engineered print of all truss, lighting, and rigging, including rigging point loads per our facility agreement. Failure to provide a DWG file of the rigging plot with point loads and all hanging material weights by the Discount Deadline will incur an additional Elec/AV Design Fee and may prohibit your rig from being hung during the requested time window.
PACK EXPO Services requires an engineer stamped drawing for all ground supported and suspended LED and Video Display systems. All LED and Video Display Systems must comply with ANSI E1.50-1 Standards. Failure to provide the proper documentation could result in your LED display NOT being set up. If a stamped certification is not provided, PACK EXPO Services certified employees will perform an assessment to ensure the video wall can be installed and dismantled safely. This applies to all ground supported and suspended LED and Video Display Systems.
Electricians install/dismantle all programable dimmable lighting fixtures, video walls, audio, and projection, including that which is attached to ground-supported truss.
Time will commence per exhibitor’s request. Failure to start at the requested time will result in a 4 hour minimum charge per stagehand requested, unless 24-hour advance notice is provided in writing.
Materials used to install truss/lighting/LED and Video Display Systems will be charged accordingly.
