- To qualify for the discount, your order, including full payment and a floor plan showing the main power location and distribution points (if applicable), must be received by the deadline. Orders submitted after the deadline or without payment will be charged the standard price and are subject to availability. The pricing for your electrical order is based on the date the floor plan is received.
- Onsite electrical audits will be conducted. If you use this service without placing an order, your account will be charged at the standard rates.
- Note: Linear booths with standard placement (back center of booth) do not require a floor plan.
- Electrical floor plans received by The Expo Group after October 30, 2026 will incur an additional $300.00 expedite fee, in addition to the standard pricing for electrical.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WHERE WILL MY OUTLET BE LOCATED?
Outlets are located as depicted below for inline & peninsula booths. All other locations require labor on a time & material basis. Exhibitors with hard wall booths must make arrangements with The Expo Group/Seattle Convention Center to bring power inside the booth on a time and material basis.
Inline and Peninsula Delivery - The cost of 120-Volt outlets includes delivery to one location at the rear of inline or peninsula booths. If you require the outlets to be distributed to any other location, material and labor charges apply. Actual labor will be billed, but the minimums are as follows:
- 1-4 outlets = (1)hr for installation and (1/2)hr for removal
- 5-10 outlets = (1.5)hrs for installation and (.75)hr for removal
- 10+ outlets = (2)hrs for installation and (1)hr for removal
Island Booth Delivery - One Location
Arch: Island booths that only need power delivered to one location incur a labor charge of 1 hour for installation and removal. A scaled booth plan must accompany orders showing outlet locations with measurements and orientation.
Summit: Island booths that only need power delivered to one location incur a labor charge of 1 hour for installation and removal if power can be placed at the most convenient location based on floor box access.
If main distribution point is not provided, The Expo Group/Seattle Convention Center will deliver to the most convenient location. An additional charge for engineering and to power up the booth may be accessed.
Island Booth Delivery - Multiple Locations - Island booths that require power to be delivered to multiple locations within their booth space incur a minimum (2) hour labor charge for installation. The removal of this work will be charged a minimum (1) hour or (1/2) the total time of installation. Material charges will apply. Return a floor plan layout of your booth space indicating a main distribution point and all outlet locations with measurements and orientation. If a main distribution point is not provided, The Expo Group/Seattle Convention Center will deliver to the most convenient location. An additional charge for engineering and to power up the booth may be assessed.
208/480V Power Delivery and Connections - All 408/480V Single Phase must accompany a NEMA plug variable. All 208/480V Three Phase power need to inquire if Edison or large cam hookup. The Expo Group/Seattle Convention Center Electricians must make all high voltage connections and disconnects.
- Arch: Lift, labor and material charges may apply.
- Summit: Any power delivery of 100 Amps of 208v power or greater will require space for a transformer within the booth layout. A minimum of (2) hour lift rental, (2) hours of labor will be applied along with any materials necessary for the service.
- 200 Amp service will be a 75kva trans and a 200 Amp switch. Safe dimensions are 4.5’x4.5’ and open to above. Transformer feed from above, in the form of 4/5 round cable.
- 400 Amp service will be a 150kva trans and a 400 Amp switch. Safe dimensions are 6.5’x6.5’ abd open to above. Transformer feed from above, in the form of 5x 2/0 cables.
Please complete a floor plan layout of your booth space indicating outlet locations.
Additional Information - Please be advised that labor starts times cannot be guaranteed. If no time is provided, work will be performed on a first-come, first served basis. A representative must come to The Expo Group/Seattle Convention Center Service Desk prior to each individual labor call to confirm the booth is ready for such labor. If labor is dispatched at the requested time and no “exhibitor supervisor” is available, a minimum 1/2 hour labor charge per electrician will apply. A minimum labor charge of 1 hour will apply per electrician for installation. Dismantle time will be calculated at 1/2 of the total installation time. Labor requests and service requests requiring labor made after on-site pricing begins are subject to a 2-% labor surcharge.

Ceiling Drops - Ceiling drops utilize electrical access from the ceiling as required for lighting, rigging, etc. There is a fee for each drop installed from the ceiling in addition to the electrical power charge. Please contact your Customer Service Manager for more information.
24 Hour Services - Electricity will be turned on within 30 minutes of show opening and off within 30 minutes of show closing, show days only. If you require power at any other time please contact your Customer Service Manager.
